Leadership Training in SAIF Zone for owners, general managers and newly promoted heads in trading, logistics and light manufacturing companies. Your leaders practise the handover of real responsibility, using situations from their own warehouses, sales desks and offices.
We use what is happening in your company now, such as a branch manager who still phones the owner for every discount, and turn it into practice material.
Where founders, relatives and hired professionals share leadership, we handle decision rights and trust carefully, with discretion and without taking sides.
Facilitators are former general managers, commercial directors and HR heads. They have grown a business themselves and understand cash, customers and staff turnover.
Teams in the zone mix Arabic, English, Hindi and Urdu speakers. Sessions run in English or Arabic, or both, with plain language that every manager follows easily.
Managers who complete the course get a TrainingInUAE.com completion certificate, a useful marker for staff who have rarely had formal development before.
We fix one business measure with you at the outset, maybe owner time spent on approvals or staff retention, and come back to it after 90 days.
Managers in fast growing trading firms have little patience for theory. They need to know what to say to the sales coordinator who missed a shipment again. So most of our time goes on rehearsing those moments, reviewing what worked and refining it before it matters.
A short 360 questionnaire, or a conversation with the owner and senior staff, tells us how each manager leads today and what people need from them.
Usually it is clear quickly: decisions waiting for the founder, unclear roles between family and hired managers or new supervisors avoiding hard conversations.
We write exercises from your recent situations, anonymised, so a logistics head or showroom manager practises on something they genuinely recognise.
Each manager tries the approach with a colleague, hears what landed and what did not, then repeats it with one or two changes.
Every participant leaves with one commitment, such as deciding approvals under a set value without escalating, and records what happens over the month.
We review the business measure, speak to the owner or HR and recommend whether to deepen the programme, widen it or stop there.
Eight parts in ten are hands on. Managers act out real conversations, solve business cases drawn from their own week and coach a partner, with the facilitator giving short, specific notes between rounds.
There are eight modules to choose from, and most companies start with four. We suggest the mix after the diagnosis. Every module finishes with practice on a scenario taken from your own operation.
A typical team here brings together many nationalities and very different ideas about authority. Leaders learn to set one clear standard, explain it well and notice who is quietly disengaging.
🛠 Leaders practise: Reset expectations with a team that ignores procedures
How to develop people without long meetings. Short coaching questions, specific praise and correction that people act on, practised until managers stop avoiding them.
🛠 Leaders practise: Coach a coordinator who keeps missing order deadlines
For founders and senior managers who still approve everything. Agreeing what to hand over, setting limits and following up without taking the task back.
🛠 Leaders practise: Agree decision limits with a branch or department head
Decisions on credit, stock or staffing when cash is tight and customers are waiting. Leaders practise weighing the options quickly and explaining the choice to the team.
🛠 Leaders practise: Decide on a large order from a customer with overdue payments
Moving to a bigger warehouse, adding a new system or opening a new market changes everyone's job. Leaders plan the message and support people who feel threatened.
🛠 Leaders practise: Explain a new ERP rollout to an anxious warehouse team
Making a case to a founder, a parent company abroad or a key supplier. Leaders prepare the facts, anticipate objections and ask clearly for a decision.
🛠 Leaders practise: Propose a new hire to an owner who prefers to wait
Sales, operations and finance in a growing company often pull in different directions. Leaders work on shared targets, clear roles and short meetings that end in decisions.
🛠 Leaders practise: Settle a conflict between sales and warehouse over priorities
What AI and reporting tools mean for a trading business leader: reading the numbers critically, setting simple rules for AI use and deciding where it truly saves time.
🛠 Leaders practise: Review an AI drafted sales forecast and spot its weak points
A third generation distribution group and a young logistics start up need very different leadership work. We start from your structure, your people and the next stage of growth, then design from there.
We begin with the founder or general manager to understand where the business is going and what leaders must be able to do in two years.
Cases come from your recent customer escalations, staff issues and growing pains, with names removed, so the practice feels close to daily work.
First time supervisors get more structure and practice. Senior managers get more challenge and strategy. Delivery runs in English, Arabic or a mix.
For coordinators and specialists promoted from within who now lead the colleagues they used to sit beside.
For branch, warehouse and department heads who connect the owner's plans with daily operations.
For founders, family members and general managers sharing leadership and planning for succession.
For promising staff you want ready for bigger roles as the business expands into new markets.
At the end, every manager takes away a TrainingInUAE.com completion certificate listing modules and dates. For many it is their first formal record of leadership development. It documents our in-house course, and we never present it as a government accredited award.
Most requests come from owners and HR managers at trading, distribution and light manufacturing companies, often after rapid growth has stretched a small leadership team further than it can comfortably go.

Founded in 1995 on land next to Sharjah International Airport, the zone is home to a large community of trading, logistics and light manufacturing firms, many of them owner led or regional bases for groups from India and further afield. Growth often outpaces management depth, so the step from founder deciding everything to a team that decides is where most of our leadership work begins.
Leaders here run warehouse crews, sales desks and office staff from many countries, frequently promoted from within. Most sessions happen in a meeting room on site on a weekday, Monday to Friday, timed around shipment peaks. For a leadership offsite, Sharjah city hotels are close by, and some teams choose a desert venue in the Mleiha area for a quieter day away from phones.
One practical theme, such as delegation, covered with short input and several rounds of rehearsal.
Two related skills explored in depth at your premises or a nearby Sharjah venue.
A day or two away for owners and senior managers to agree roles, priorities and decision rights.
A session each month for a quarter or more, with a 30 day challenge set at the end of each.
Short live online clinics that keep momentum between workshops for managers at several sites.
Smaller companies often start with a half day masterclass for the whole management group, then move to a monthly series once they see the value. If the main issue sits between the founder and senior managers, a one day offsite focused on roles and decision rights tends to make the biggest difference early on.
Yes. We offer a short 360 questionnaire completed by each manager’s superior, peers and team members. In smaller firms we sometimes replace it with structured interviews, which feel more natural. Each manager sees their own results, and the owner or HR receives group themes only, never individual comments.
We do. Sessions can be held entirely in Arabic, entirely in English or bilingually, and handouts can be prepared in both. In mixed teams we use plain, clear English with Arabic support where needed. The choice is agreed during design so nobody struggles to follow or contribute.
Our limit for hands on leadership workshops is 20 participants for each trainer. Smaller companies often send six to twelve managers, which works very well. When more people need the training, we add a second facilitator or run another cohort. Larger talks for a whole leadership gathering have no fixed size limit.
Hotels in Sharjah city are a short drive from the zone and offer meeting rooms that suit most groups. Teams wanting a real change of setting sometimes choose a desert venue in the Mleiha area. If time is tight, we can run the session at your own premises. We help you decide what fits the agenda.
Yes. Managers who finish are each handed a TrainingInUAE.com completion certificate that names the modules and the dates they attended. Owners often use it to recognise staff who have stepped up. It records in-house development with us and is not an accredited or government recognised qualification.
Yes, for internal use, if it is agreed before the session. We usually film the teaching segments only and keep role plays private, because managers speak more honestly when the camera is off. A recording is a useful summary, but joining the next live cohort gives much more value.
At the start we agree a measure that matters to the owner, such as fewer approvals reaching the founder, staff retention or 360 scores. Managers also track their 30 day commitments. After 90 days we compare results with the baseline, speak with the owner and send a short written review.
